How to Orbit

Recommended Posts

I think you need to brush up on 'Rocket piloting 101' a bit...

Sure, you eventually get there, but it was just a tad messy... 8) You would have had plenty of fuel if you hadn\'t 'gone faster and faster' because 'it is better'. Once you have raised your apoapsis to 70-80km+, you have enough speed. Once you are at your apoapsis, you want to do the 2nd burn to raise the periapsis to whatever you want it to be. Probably also 70-80km+. Nice circular orbit without any sightseeing trips to 18000km+

Edit: Also +100 Jeb Points for jettisoning your RCS fuel and RCS thrusters before using them to lower your periapsis into atmosphere for re-entry. Poor crew... forever stuck in orbit...

I know, I\'m planing on redoing them. I had a chance to record commentary without being disrupted so I took the chance and I was kind of unprepared. As for the RCS I though I had another stage for some reason to de-orbit with. Sucks to be those 3 guys.
