clamp-o-trons wont clamp

Recommended Posts

I don't know what else to do, they sort of clamped on one side of the station, but when i turned off RCS it violently decoupled. So I tried a different docking port and it wont magnetically clamp.

I have attached screenshots to show how close I am.

Know at the time of the screen shots there is almost zero movement in any direction.

It looks like you have some of your docking ports backwards, the one facing you in the screenshot for example. You won't be able to dock with that port as a result of this but the one to the left and right of it are fine and you should be able to dock with them.

When you tried docking where they wobbling together? Thats' what happens when the magnetic force is trying to dock them together, make sure ASAS is off when they're doing this.

I know I have some that are undockable, but I believe the one that I'm attempting to dock at in the screenshot is a good one, or is it not?

There is no wobble when I attempt. I know the wobble you're talking about, it happened when I tried on a different port.

Ah, I see the port you're talking about. I've had that bug before, restarting the game fixed it for me but I haven't seen it since 1.8.0.
