geosynch orbit is 2 868.75 km with a speed of 1 009.019 m/s - mj can get you there as you can do it manually: Raise your apoapsis to 2868,75km, caost to the apoapsis and circularize your orbit. It's get's more comlicated if you want your final position at a specific point - you have to time your transfer right.
