So if you look at ecliptics frome above (from the side of north pole of Earth or even Sun) which spin solar system will behave?

I mean, in which side planets will go on their orbits?

Question is absolutley obivous to people, who know arstronomy just a little above school program, but I\'m interested to see, how much of you, guys, have to know this.

Poll expires in 7 days, then results showed.

Our solar system, the planets all orbit in very much the same ecliptic and in an anti-clockwise direction (as seen from Solar North), and the Sun and most of the planets spin in an anticlockwise direction. Uranus is unusual in that it\'s axis is inclined at nearly 98 degrees, so it can\'t be said to spin clockwise OR anticlockwise when seen from Solar North.

Other solar systems may vary considerably more. There is at least one case of an extrasolar planet that orbits in the opposite direction to its star\'s spin, and planets that have had close encounters may have axial tilts even greater than that of Uranus.
