Care to elaborate or did you just realize that full sci/fi ships and weapons mods really have no place in Kerbal other than a passing novelty?

Obviously you have some skills, why not put them to better use creating stuff that actually might have gameplay value?

EDIT to elaborate my position/opinion:

To recreate any thing from stock or modded parts that works: AWESOME!

To import a full ship model with questionable physics: Meh.

Well the facts being, I am stuck at ksp 19, and with all the hullabaloo about how buggy 20 is, I see no reason to upgrade. Perhaps if/when they finish the project, then I will obtain a finished version. Not to stir up drama, some peoples kids, but the above mentioned simple reason.

Will keep watching the threads, lurking about, but no way I'm gonna upgrade and loose system performance for a pre release.

There are actually a number of people who can't run .20.2

I have a PC that is substantially above spec, trying to run a clean boot stock build, and the program simply hangs at load. Trufax.

Just remember, entaran, the answer to broken programs is not always a simplistic "YOU NEED MORE COWBELL"

So you haven't even tried to run the current versions? Seems kind of silly not to even try.

Stock runs extremely stable and crisp for me, modded a little slightly less so but still reasonably playable.

Mod file structure is vastly different, but most of the key ones have been updated recently. I'd start with a clean install and add them one by one to see how your system likes it. They have left legacy folders in place, but I had issues with my old mods when I just updated and left everything intact.

You could always install the clean one in a different directory thus having both versions running.

Well now, aside from the blatant rip off of the sims, (opening screen setup, RECALCULATING RETICULES etc...) pretty nice. Runs smoother than I was led to believe... Will tinker a bit....

One mans "ripoff" is another's Inspiration and Homage. There's a lot more than the loading screen. Glad to see you're sticking around. Enjoy!

The file structure has changed, mods are done a little differently now, but not horribly.

As far as the game performance goes, it's faster than 0.18 for some, slower for others, so definitely worth a try since you've already paid for it.

Well, my two bits. First, I don't have steam, but I believe they are offering older versions again? Myself, I have each version stored so if a bad one comes up, it doesn't affect me. Also, if you are running 19, many things will work in 20 still, so just have fun and share. My current project uses stuff from 17 for portions
