Maybe, instead of me having a capsule on all my ships that detaches, I should make a giant space station for them to dock at, and then use ships to bring up fuel and crew for them. It's a good idea for carrer mode, considering how I like to make ships that do their task and have alot of fuel left over. I made a Duna lander once and flew it to Eeloo

It's good practice to develop interplanetary cruisers that can be refuelled anywhere, especially Kerbin orbit. I've never really used space stations for refuelling, with the obvious exception of the drydock in this story. However, I'm gonna see about putting another drydock up
