For now I'm just gonna have a couple different sizes of module.Doing some final tweaks to the models, then the test version should be ready. Probably really buggy, just needs to be put through its paces in as many situations as possible and broken in as many ways as can be managed. CaptRobau Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Tried it out. It looks great, but as expected there are still a few bugs, etc.:1. Did you know the .dll is not in the Plugins folder? Not sure if that's necessary, but because I at first thought I thought it didn't work I moved it to the Plugins folder. Turns out the problem was caused by something else. It does work if it's put in the Plugins folder.2. The problem I encountered was that I launched an unmanned version. Once in space I opened the windows and then clicked on 'find the refit module' or whatever the other buttons called. When I got my manned craft to the wet workshop and put a Kerbil in the refit module, it wouldn't let me refit it. No button. When I launched another workshop I put a Kerbal in before I clicked 'find the refit module'. This time it worked as it should.3. I had leftover equipment after completing the tank conversion. Tommygun Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 I may have found an issue, the Caterpillar Tracks mod may conflict with this mod.I made four conversion attempts while I had tracks attached to the fuel tank. Two attempts where successful and two failures when the conversion button did not appear.But in all four attempts the caterpillar tracks would not drive forward or backwards, they would only turn left or right.Two conversion attempts without treads did work. As with Robau, any errors in the console at the time of occurrence?Well I'm not familiar with using the debug console, but this is what one screen is saying when I use the track vehicle.When I use it in a more traditional way it works fine. Just one minor issue.When I place a Kerbal in the Refit module I can press the first GUI (I think it says Find Refit Module?), but the second GUI that starts the refit doesn't appear at first.You have to clear the little GUI screen and then click on the Fuel tank again to see the start refit GUI.This could lead to some confusion I think, but minor really.Sounds easy, I have more problems not setting my moon landers down horizontally Me too, but I want this one down in one functional piece.I've just came up with a new technique I'm calling Rocket Tipping, it's just like cow tipping, but without all the mooing. I checked the logs and found this exact error in all of them.When you search for the text of the error itself it points to these forums, where in a few threads Sal_vager(i think) advises against alt+tabbing and states this error is not present when you use windowed mode or when you don't alt+tab. He also suggests using alt+enter. Windows key + tab is the same as alt+tab, the active window(KSP) loses focus.I explain this to myself with the fact that the GPU gets utilized in 2D mode in Windows, which causes Unity to lose the handling of the gpu driver or something. Even worse - i tend to play 2 games at once, which causes problems even with 2 different games, not only KSP and another game using the 3D acceleration of the GPU. I was planning on delivering refit modules on unmanned craft and getting the station crew to carry out the refit whenever a new wet workshop gets docked, so I don't have to send up a new refit module with each workshop. Even worse - i tend to play 2 games at once, which causes problems even with 2 different games, not only KSP and another game using the 3D acceleration of the GPU.Weird, I can power my tv through my hdmi port, run netflix or watch a movie, while running Ksp on my 19inch monitor, full screen. i5, z77 Extreme mobo, using the onboard gpu (ie, no video card, cpu has a gpu on die). Alt tab, no problem, the only thing ive ever noticed is if Im loading ksp (ie waiting on the mods) and I alt tab out it takes about 3 times longer. While in space or landed on the ground I can Alt-tab back and forth from Ksp to whatever, I havnt noticed anything. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
