Need ideas for my Neil Armstrong Autograph frame...

Recommended Posts

If it was me I would just have a sheet of black card as the background and keep it at that. Maybe center the autograph in the middle as well...? And yes, that is insanely awesome and I want one. :D Take good care of it.

Put some black paper as the background and buy some helium to preserve the autograph.

I think that as long as the frame and glass is fairly air/watertight it'll be good for many decades, I would've thought it would be a bit small to buy a load of helium for...

you're probably right. Maybe just keep it in a dark safe with a dehumidifier and take it out if you wanna show it.

Thanks for all the advice guys. The story behind it (I'm sure a few are wondering) is as follows: My dad is a pilot for delta airlines. About 10 years ago he was the first officer of a flight (where he was going neither of us can remember), anyways as passengers boarded he noticed Mr. Armstrong enter and sit in first class. I was about 12 at this time and loved space flight and astronomy, etc. My dad knowing this, he, during the flight, went back into first class and introduced himself to Neil. He explained how much his son (me) would be jealous about meeting him. Neil proceeded to ask what my name was and ask for one of my dad's business cards. He then wrote "To Nathan, good luck" and signed it. My dad was tickled pink due to the fact that Neil had publicly stopped signing autographs years ago. My dad later explained how sad it was that no one else in first class knew who he was.
