I've been playing KSP for about a month now and have been enjoying myself immensely. Haven't got far yet, a couple of landings on the Mun with mixed success plus a probe flypast of Duna.

No but really, welcome to the forums!

A month is pretty good for landing on the Mun and an encounter with Duna.

It took me one month to learn to get into orbit, another to get to the Mun safely, and after that things started speeding up.

Aaaand, I finally beat Cap'n Spunky to a new person!

Flawless victory! :D
