JupiterII
What\'s the best free program for making good KSP textures?
xzbobzx
Paint.net is easy to use, but I\'d say photoshop if you\'re a pro.
Jack
I use Paint.NET.
JupiterII
I\'m using it too. I just finished my first mod. It\'s just an edited mk1pod though.
Technical Ben
Gimp is also free and has a lot more tools than paint.net
tsoramaki
+1 for The Gimp 8) I have actually used Photoshop, and I still would pick Gimp as my graphic editor of choice.
Nomad
There is no 'best' program to use for texturing, it\'s all based on how well you like a particular program. I use gimp because I find it easy to use and it is free, there is also paint.net and Photoshop.
dbellmo2
+1 for Gimp.I grew up with photoshop so I prefer it. But Gimp is just as solid (and totally free). Also, I spent many hours in MSPaint making texture files for Microsoft\'s Flight Simulator. Obviously not the best choice, but works if you have the patience.Regardless of which program you use, they all have their own quirks and some are less intuitive than others.
