[SOLVED]Funny Lighting issues. . . .

Recommended Posts

Looks like you've either:

  1. Added smooth lighting but didn't edge-split it
  2. Or not added a KSP shader in Unity

To edge-split it in Blender add a modifier to it in Object mode:

Then adjust the angle if you need, and hit Apply.

There is an edge split modifier on the models it is set at 30 degrees which is default I believe. I am using KSP Diffuse shaders on both of them. Thanks though.

An easier way is to make it under Unity.

1. Select your mesh in the project window.

2. In Inspector window, choose "Calculate" normals. Set "smooth angle" to 60 (or whatever you want).

3. Press "Apply".

You have fixed your shader issue.

That fixed everything. Thank you greatly. I very much appreciate the help.
