Heh. You said it. I recently watched the 10th-anniversary episode of Mythbusters, in which they finally successfully launched a rocket-powered Chevrolet Impala off a ramp; during the build, they had to rip open the rear end of the car and build a harness, and Jamie remarked, "The rockets have got to go somewhere."

That pretty neatly encapsulates Kerbal Design Theory, as far as I'm concerned. :)
