Mining for fuel - How to?

So what's the popular method of generating fuel / oxidizers for the game? I've started playing with the 3M home system, but it's a beast of a ship and finding it a challenge to get it anywhere and seems to require an atmosphere in order to be productive. I've seen several threads about Kethane, but searching for the mod is proving to be a challenge. Searching the Forum and the Spaceport for Kethane only reveals discussions, no mods or guides are coming up in the searches.

I'm thinking I'd love to setup a fuel mining facility in a low gravity area, such as MinMus, and use it as a launching point for the larger ships travelling deeper in/out of the system.

What do you guys suggest? Have good links to those mods?

So any other options out there other than Kethane that are popular?

Home can produce fuel in an atmosphere with electricity afaik - there is nothing else out there besides Kethane. Dev already announced a resource system, so there isn't really much drive to develop an own...

There was a mod called "Fueltastic", but the dev didn't upload it to the spaceport, and I think it got wiped out on the forum crash. :/

Maybe next time you should try to read the first result Google gives you.

To quote the first line of text in the first post:

This is the new home for the Kethane Pack.

That almost looks like that forum thread might be the home page of the mod.

And that big ass link saying

Almost as if that might be a download link
