GameEvents documentation

I have only recently noticed the existence of GameEvents. I would like some descriptions of exactly when each of the events it contains fire. These are the events:

  • onCollision
  • onCrash
  • onCrashSplashdown
  • onCrewBoardVessel
  • onCrewKilled
  • onCrewOnEva
  • onDominantBodyChange
  • onFlagSelect
  • onFlightReady
  • onGamePause
  • onGameSceneLoadRequested
  • onGameStateCreated
  • onGameStateSaved
  • onGameUnpause
  • onJointBreak
  • onLaunch
  • onMissionFlagSelect
  • onOverheat
  • onPartAttach
  • onPartCouple
  • onPartDestroy
  • onPartRemove
  • onPartUndock
  • onPlanetariumTargetChanged
  • onSplashDamage
  • onStageActivate
  • onStageSeparation
  • onTimeWarpRateChanged
  • onUndock
  • onVesselChange
  • onVesselCreate
  • onVesselDestroy

They all look extremely useful. But they need some clarification, e.g. does onVesselChange occur whenever the structure of the vessel (i.e. the hierarchy of parts) changes? Or is that for the VAB/SPH only?
