Launching to a specific LAN?

So I've been going through the missions in the Mission Commander mod, and reached one that requires placing a satellite into an orbit with a very specific LAN. I'm certain the method involves launching to an equatorial orbit and then burning to the necessary inclination, but how does one figure out just when to burn?

What I do is select the mun as a target, which is at 0 degrees inclination. It will show the ascending and descending nodes when you do relative to that 0 point. Hope that helps.

Edit: Just in case you were asking about this, you burn at the ascending or descending nodes 90 degrees to your pro-grade marker.

Orbit until you're at the right longitude, then do a brief normal burn. Your node is now in the right place. Then you can fix the inclination using the trick matt_cain suggests.

[edit: it's late... my technique puts the node 90 degrees off from where you want it. Easy to fix: burn normal, 90 or 270 off from the longitude you want your node to be.]

I think it's anti normal 90 degrees early, normal 90 degrees late, but I could be confused. Hence my suggestion of a tiny burn to establish the nodes, then you patch it up.
