Dude, i may be 10 years old, but i can beta test. May i participate in Voyager Beta Testing?

I'm not really sure how much testing is actually required. I rarely test the ships until the very end, and usually that's within days of the release. Having a testing team, to me, would seem pointless for this, as it's all one big thing that changes very frequently. I probably will release some sort of alpha at some point, but it will be fairly close to completion then.

Regarding the ship itself, I have the nacelles animated and moving dependent of the throttle. I tried to throw together a gif, as a picture would be pretty boring. I'll do the landing gear next and then I'll start texturing the exterior.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you plan on incorporating the delta flyer? Are you going to do a shuttle bay in the back section of just have it land and dock directly on the back (in front of the bay doors?)

BTW the nacelles look awesome man I love how they move with the throttle. Will they also move when the KSPI warp is activated?

I'm not going to do the Delta Flyer until after I give the Enterprise the same treatment. It will just be easier to test and create as the TOS shuttle is basically a box. The way it will play out is as follows:

1: release Voyager without shuttle bay

2: release Enterprise with shuttlebay

3: release Voyager with shuttlebay

On the topic of the nacelles, I don't think I can activate an animation when you go to warp, but I can make it so you can toggle the nacelles position, just like the phoenix. I'm also really happy right now because the landing gear worked on the first try, unlike most things I seem to do.

Orange just means it hasn't been started, you even quoted that part yourself.

So any progress?

Also, plan on updating phoenix to 23.5?

All the animation is completely finished now, and I'm going to start on Texturing. As far as I know all the previous mods still work in the latest update, with the Enterprise being an exception, but I'll fix that now.

I'm just adding KSPI/23.5 support for the Enterprise now. I'm just making sure it actually works and then I'll update the Spaceport link.

EDIT: I've also come to the realization that the Enterprise is a lot bigger than it should be. I think when I scaled it to 300m, It only showed the saucer's dimensions, so really it's over 2x actual length. I'll correct that as well.

Everything is updated now and improved, I've also managed to get the Phoenix on Spaceport. Please re-download the Enterprise if you have it currently, the new update makes it much better.

Hi StarVision. I was wondering? What are the chances that we could get a separate decoupler for the phoenix? as when you have Extraplanetary Launchpads installed it messes up any command pods that have engines or decouplers built in. I ended up having to delete the decoupler from the cfg file to make it work. Stock ones work fine but it would be nice to have a matching one. (I use the phoenix cockpit on almost every craft now lol) Keep up the great work man. Your easily one of the top modders for KSP as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for the kind words. I can't modify the Cockpit itself, because of the Internal, but I could create a slim disk the same colour as the cockpit. Would that do? Regarding Voyager I haven't done much besides prepping some images to be used as textures. I have however been participating in the Open Parts mod, which I encourage anyone looking to start modding to take part in.

The H is a reference to the H in Red Dwarf, indicating that the person is a hologram. The holograms are usually people previously alive.

Here's the Decoupler.

I'd recommend going back into the Cockpit's cfg file and adjusting this thing at the top:

node_stack_bottom = 0.0, -2.5, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, 5

to:

node_stack_bottom = 0.0, -2.5, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, 2

The decoupler is such a small thing that it's really hard to attach it to the cockpit with the proper node. This makes it so the node isn't as big, giving you more room and preventing it from snapping together with the wrong node.

I can't wait for voyager. Can you add Janeways voice to it just like you did Magic Carpet Ride to the Phoenix? Also since you are making a voyager mod its only fitting that you create a delta quadrant for KSP. Thats not hard to do right? :wink:

I might be able to add something, we'll see.

Any progress?

Nothing interesting. I went over the orthographic image I had and made the lighting mostly consistent, so there won't be any false shadows in-game. Here's what it looks like now:

StarVision, why do all your avatars have an H on them?

Well, two have had an H. It's because they're holograms.
