evreetime i press the Activated warpdrive button nothing happens. i do have a full tank of exotic matter.

dose this by any chance have something to do with the configs in the option SciFi folder? if so i don't know were to put em. in gamedata. or in Scifi.

Well last Time I checked interstellar wasn't actually updated to 0,24, so that's probably why.

When the warp drive is activated. will the nacelles move up?.

if thay don't will turning up the throttle while at warp causing anything different. like the warp drive will be screwed up

No they won't, and I'm not sure on the second one, although that could happen with just regular Interstellar as well, so it's probably fine.

Alright, here's the folding flag animation. All that's left to do now are the flags that wrap around cylinders and some basic flat ones.

It looks great!

I'm really excited about your flag parts.

Sorry if you already answered this, but will the flags have individual visuals, or are they bound to the mission flag?

yeah i probably did not explain that very well :/. when i mean screwing up the warp. i mean. will it change the course of the vessel during warp?

No idea.

Also I've got the flags done. I'm just going to get a download ready then I'll move onto other stuff.

They are bound to the mission flag, although by removing a module from the cfg you could stop it.

Fantastic. I really missed plastering giant Canadian flags all over everything lol. Now that this has been revived, what are the chances that you can whip up a Kerbalized Federation flag.

That shouldn't be too hard, although I believe stuff like that already exists. I'll probably do some for the pack and include them next time I update it, but I'll post them in an imgur album before then.

Edit: Here's some I put together. I made them transparent so they look good just by themselves on ships. Some are better than others. If I missed any big ones let me know. Here's a download for lazy people.

They look cool..

missing is relative - but how about those:

the merchant fleet - mostly seen in memory-beta creations - might be missing..

Although I don't know what logo they have - but for the civilian merchant fleet would be cool to have a flag logo..

Several fanfilms feature the merchant fleet prominently..

Also "The Alliance" from the mirror universe at DS9..

Oh and just thought of the "Andorian Emperial Guard" - but since you didn't see NX01, you might not kow them at all..

trying to add lights to the DS9 can u give me a quick step by step for unity, its not working,??

Here's how I do it:

Before you even open Unity, you have to create an emmisive texture. You do this by opening up the standard texture, then colouring white wherever the windows are, then make everything else black (you should use layers). Here's the textures for the Enterprise hull for example. The white areas are what Unity lights up the most, and black the least.

After this is done go into Unity and select your mesh, choose the KSP/Emmisive/Diffuse shader. Put your regular texture in the top spot and your emmisive in the bottom. Then Follow this tutorial because I'm bad at them.

After you've finished that, you'll want to use this module instead of the engineheat one (for obvious reasons). Rename LightAnimation to whatever you named your animation in Unity. After this it should work.

My apologies for the rather poor half tutorial, but I'm not the best at them.

I've got quite a lot of modeling done, including the Flying Saucer internal. It's supposed to be inside the dome, and when I'm finished it will pulsate as well. Here's what it looks like right now:

Just wonder about one thing:

there is sounds there:

SciFi\_Enterprise\Parts\Enterprise\part\Sounds

and another sounds dir (the main one I guess) there:

SciFi\_Enterprise\Sounds

Any particular reason for that ?

There is a reason. The sounds inside the part folders are played using the stock method for custom sounds, while the other sound folders are for the Firespitter engine sounds module. This allows the background noises plus sounds when you throttle up.

Also as I might have mentioned earlier, the old Firespitter module I was using is broken in 0.24.2, so I'll need to update it or just use the main dll for ambient sounds to work again.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but when I try to IVA, all the textures are black.

I'm not sure if it's the new RasterProp or the fact that I'm using Active Texture Management (x86).

that might be, I never had this with voyager and I don't have any of those two mods installed since .23.5

drag/drop those two add-ons into game-root folder and restart the game - maybe then we have at least clarity where the issue comes from..

KSPI, with the warp trail, also had some black color issue with ATM - at least for some users like me..

although the warp trail is just a line renderer and not even a texture..

OMG that would looking amazing in KSP!. i wonder if StarVision will add the spinning blades inside the nacelles.

Yeah that sure would be awsome. One other thing is to get it heavy enought to put it under water with lcars so I can recreate the scene from Star Trek into darkness when the enterprise rises out nibiru's ocean only for me I'd park it in laythes ocean. If you can starvision make it I would download at warp speed sorry if that didn't make since. :)

As much as I dislike the whole new "EXPLOSIVE STAR TREK LENS FLARE BOOM CANNONS BETRAYL" series, the new enterprise DOES look pretty amazing. It's 700 meters LONG? DAYUM that would be awesome!
