Changing the size of KSPX adapters

Hi guys,

I want to change the size of the KSPX quad and tri adapter from the 2.5m/3x1.25m 2.5m/4x1.25m, to 3.75m/3x2.5m + 3.75/4x2.5m

Anyone know what value to give the .cfg part file in asset parameter to achieve this?

can I creat a new part with the same info as the 2.5 adapters but with modded asset parameters and just call them 3.75m adapters?

Make a copy the part cfg file in the part folder

Open the new cfg file

Change the name value to whatever you want. It must be unique.

Change the rescaleFactor value to 2.5 or 3.75

Hi nibb, thanks for the reply.

your suggestion rescaled the part thank you , I need to find a way to rescale both sides though, because at 2.5 it scales the bottom of the tri adapter to 2.5 size, but the top is over 3.75. hmm

I ended up changing the nuclear engine from 2.5 to 3.75, thanks!
