Engine Effects

So, as we all know, the engine effects aren't all that realistic, lust big blue flames with very little smoke. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any mods that would add better engine effects, or maybe if it's planned in a future update. ( I think I read somewhere that is is...) Rareden made some cool engine renders in his "kerbal art" thread, they are around the last page.
