I think one of the big issues is the lack of consistency from the color of the campfire to the color reflected on his face... Green fire reflects red-orange on a green Kerbal? What? Otherwise I think it's very nice, I like the look of the fire and smoke from the rocket.

also, the smoke looks kinda scribbled in, that was the only thing that bugged me about it. its excellent artwork!

I changed the first one slightly, This time I took yellow from google images :/ I agree with the smoke comment, I think I'l fix that too.

It's like yellow-green-ish, then a dark orange-brown? With white.

This is where the infinite fuel of the infinite fuel cheat comes from.

I think it may not be a composition issue, so much as one with the angle the kerbal is facing. It's confusing, is he supposed to be looking at the fire, or rocket, or neither?

That could be throwing of the feel of the work.

The campfire is brown and yellowish while the rocket stuff is more of a red hue.
