Am I doing something wrong? Keyboard problem

Hi everyone. I'm having a problem every once in a while where all of my controls stop working for no apparent reason. Even when I've been using MeckJeb it loses all functionality because of it. Is it something in the game I'm doing wrong, or is it a programming thing? I can't even turn RCS on/off. I can however hit M and get to maps, select a new satellite, and that one works... then back to the other one and no controls. I can't seem to figure out any kind of pattern.

You're out of power. Place some solar panels. You need electric charge for unmanned command pods. I learned it the hard way.

Check the little light near the pitch/yaw/roll meters. If it's purple, it has lost power or something like that.

It's on of those things you learn as you go. Now imagine you are sending your very first rover to land on Mun, everything is going great got in orbit with way more fuel then you'll ever need (rare indeed) and you are in position to deorbit and land. Then you lose control because of power, it's fine I have those one solar panels on the rover I was using just for this occasion I'll jut wait for the sun to hit them and boom back in business.

2 years later you realize that the craft is in the perfect orbit to always devoid it of solar power leaving your best launch to date orbiting Mun... I am due for my third rover to Mun and I plan to have enough fuel to bump that damn rocket towards the sun and get what was suppose to be my first rover be my fourth....

Don't worry! We've ALL made that mistake at some point. First time it happened to me I restarted KSP cos I thought something was wrong! Doh!!

My pre-launch mental check-list now has solar panels (or an RTG) right under struts and boosters.

Heh, yep, I almost made a thread about it myself before I realized "Oh. Welp. I'm going to go stick my head through Minmus now."

I did make a thread about it, the day that .18 came out. But it was different then because no one really knew how it all worked. I think it lasted four pages before someone finally figured it out.

I have a satellite floating into deep space because I forgot to open up the solar panels.
