Help with Kethane mod

I got myself the new kethane, and it works fine, but then after scanning the planet, I need to know where to land, more accurately how to navigate the kethane scanner coordinates, so I couldn't figure that out by myself, and decided to use mechjeb, to just punch the coordinates, and find the landing spot. But my problems is, on kethane scanner coordinates are like, -16.0 5.0 or similar on mechjeb I put in the same, but then there is this choice of North or South, West or East I think, and I cannot figure out which is which from the kethane scanner, and I constantly land on wrong coordinates because I didn't get the North or South part right, which is not displayed by the scanner. Can anyone help out? Thanks.

- means west/south, positive numbers are east/north. I had some trouble figuring this out as well .
