I think many of you intrepid rocket scientists and spacecraft engineers might find it useful. Feel free to modify. I just can't figure out how to get the dV maps to show though.

Looks pretty good, except that it takes roughly 4500 delta v to get off of Kerbin, whereas it is currently listed 1000 delta v. (Unless I'm reading something wrong, which may very well be the case.)

The 1000 dV represents the dV needed to leave Kerbin's atmosphere, not orbit. It's 4500 dV to orbit Kerbin.

1000 m/s is stupid_chris's guesstimate, and is not a 100% accurate dV value, but it averages out pretty well. His equation is used to calculate actual dV for a rocket stage that transitions from atmosphere to vacuum.
