How to make a turbojet engine work?

I've tried everything to get this engine to work. I have it connected to a fuel tank with a battery. On a rocket, BTW. I even connected it to a launch stability enhancer to hold it off the ground. No go. It says flameout as soon as I hit the space bar. It won't spin up.

Any help would be great.

give it fuel, let it breathe...

If it coughs up - give it more air...

While unlikely is there anything phased into the fuel tank that the turbojet is attached to. This could give the same symptoms that you have stated.

A picture would help too. And like the others have said. Got air intake? Also don't need a battery right now unless it is a probe vehicle.

I've looked at every part and I can't find an air intake. Dummy here stuck it on the bottom of a fuel tank.

Sorry I haven't been here, we have out of town guests.

Took a controller, then an sas then a fuel tank then the engine but I moved all of my mods out and still can't find an air intake. I wish these parts were named better then fake stuff.

Under the aerodynamic tab, install a Ram intake. It's black with little blue bits in the grill.

Once you get the engine working I would suggest two ram intakes per engine as a minimum if you want to fly high/fast or use it on a SSTO or as a first stage engine.

I don't know, I think "Ram Air Intake" or "Radial Air Intake" is pretty good labels for intakes.
