How do you plan to get them back, though? Eve is the place from which none return...

Not true. Scott Manley, Brotoro and couple of other guys managed to do just that. But yes, it is a huge engineering challenge (way above my head). And it's a really cool video with good music and funny curveball threw in :D

You're right, Destoyer! I didn't even see that there was a whole section for youtube videos. If someone has the power to move this, I'd appreciate it.

And Commander Zoom: returning from Eve is so difficult, it's part of the reason I chose the song. These brave little Kerbals would have to "find their own way" back ;) I imagine it could be possible with a small spaceplane and a transport ship in orbit.

I wasn't speaking entirely literally. ;)

I noticed that your ship does a bit of "dancing" around that docking connection while under thrust. Have you considered something sturdier for the next revision?

Yeah, I definitely could have used the large docking ports for big interplanetary ships. Really, I just thought this design would be more visually interesting for the video!

Flying and landing such a heavy vehicle is pretty difficult. I planned to use my nuclear engine stage as an orbiter, but it seems I underestimated the available delta-v...my next ship will probably be smaller :)
