Sources for Wikipedia needed

Hi fellow kerbonauts,

I turn to you for a slightly unusual request. The background: I have been taking care of the German Wikipedia article about KSP for the last months. Some days ago some sort of WP-Admin/WP-Fanboy decided to delete parts of the article (the "Easter Eggs" section, to be precise) and mark the "Vereinfachungen" (ger. "Simplifications") section with a sign indicating that this section needed more citations.

We had some discussions wether if these edits were done in an adequate manner, as I don't think that plumply deleting stuff isn't such. But I assume that everything I do to the article will be deleted if I don't do it exactly as WP rules require. I am sure that he has a point, though. And maybe, with your help, I can restore the information that this person deleted in the way it is unassailable.

I plan on drowning this article with citations.

For this purpose, I need links to written publications anywhere online but anything hosted on squad servers (because this could be counted as advertising). Anything from stories like this to third party tutorials, interviews, reports ...

These publications should cover one or more of these topics:

- simplifications of the game in general and their purpose

- simplifications of orbital mechanics and maneuver planning (for example via the one-body-physics and fixed SOI borders)

- simplifications in space plane aerodynamics

- fixed atmosphere borders (like Kerbin's in 69 km)

- size of the kerbol planetary system

Furthermore, these topics are welcome:

- platforms KSP is developed for

- the variety of parts available for building spacecraft

- the kerbol system in general

- maneuver nodes

- anything concerning the developer-community relationship (like the opportunity to suggest stuff)

- and other stuff you might find important.

Please post the links you know/found below, I will add them to a list in the OP.

Thanks in advance. Bring the citations! :)

Regards, Tataffe

As nice as it is, I agree with Sir Nahme.

Better to focus on the dedicated wiki for KSP rather than create an in depth analysis of the game on wikipedia.

Take a look at the English version http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerbal_Space_Program

I'm not saying to google translate it, I'm just suggesting that information about easter eggs and each individual planet is a bit excessive, when that information can be found in the dedicated wiki. Thats where people who play the game will look. Wikipedia is for a different audience.
