Inigma's KSP Wiki Campaign: Kerbollo Program

Recommended Posts

My first Apollo-style design. It's able to carry three science instruments, and a two-Kerbal rover. Let me know what you think!

Under 244 parts, the whole mission can be played debris-free.

It's pretty easy to fly. Nothing special. Except if you want debris-free you will have to jettison your tower as soon as you are on your last orange tank, and don't burn all the fuel in the tank, just get suborbital long enough to do your CSM sep and LEM docking and stage ejection prior to your Trans Munar Injection burn.

No special instructions. No special bindings, except 1 for CSM solar panels. Lights and Gear all controlled by default game control bindings. Let me know what you guys think, or if you have any suggestions. Enjoy!

I really like the science experiments attached to the lander. MY Apollo-style lander, however, was a bit too heavy to have any room for deployable probes. It's weighed down with around 15,000 cosmetic structural panels and rover bodies. :(

...What happened with that jettison?

The return jettison is spectacular due to the clipped parts involved. It rips the command pod free. I just forgot to keep sas on during the jettison, else the torque send your pod spinning. Dont worry though, if you jettison during descent then theres no debris.
