Steam users, how to get a clean install?

How can you force KSP to get a clean install on Steam? If you delete local content, it brings it all back :T

1. Delete local content in steam.

2. Open my computer. Find steam folder. Find kerbal folder. Delete folder.

3. Re install Kerbal= Clean install.

Thanks a lot there, I deleted the mod data files but want to be sure.

Also make a copy of the clean install that way you can swap mod version and standard version in and out. I find this helps so you don't get one version loaded up with lots of mods.

How do you initiate the install process?

OK, finally managed to figure it out.

You have to right-click on Kerbal in your Steam library to delete local content.

Click on Kerbal in Steam.

Then Steam gives you the option to install.
