why does all the parts disappear when certain mods are downloaded?

yeah what the title said but i need to know how to fix it so that i can get stuff done and this would be helpful for people in the future that are faced with the same problem too so i need an answer and also deleting the mod helps but i am stuck in a situation where it didn't so i need some help

my experience of this issue was cause by damned robotics, and associated parts. Removing that mod corrected the issue.

If you have removed them and it stuck for some reason, reinstall the game and steer clear of the problem mod.

If you still intend to use the robotics parts, do a search on this forum for `infernal robotics` and you will find an unnofficial fix for the problem that will allow the parts to function as normal.

actually i figured out the problem and how to have it allow you to download any mod too. it is actually very simple

just copy squad in game data and paste it out side the game data folder with all the other stuff and this will allow you to download any mod without fear of parts disappearing. this may also have the side effect of doubling the stock parts in your folders so delete the parts folder the squad folder that is still inside game data.

just so you know this information will help many people in the future such as your self
