Mike Kerman watches at the tracking station waiting for the information to roll in. The face of the kerbal is all he needs to know

"i'm sorry" the kerbal said "this mission failed aswell. they crashed on the surface of the Mun."

Mikes head slumped on the desk. "any survivors?"

"Yes.... only one however..."

"who?"

"Jebediah"

Mikes jaw fell to the floor

"ANY OF THE PEOPLE BUT JEBEDIAH!"

"I'm sorry" said the kerbal "We have already set up a rescue mission but for budget cuts its... a bit small"

"How much Oxygen does he have left?"

"He only has 2 days worth"

"How are we going to do that!" asked Mike

The kerbal looked at Mike sternly..

"We are going to save him. No matter what the cost."

Saving Astronaut Jebediah

In this mission you will be using the only ship available...the Collossus mark XV

This ship was only used to get into Kerbin Orbit but you are going to get to the Mun and land.

RULES:

NO MODS ALLOWED. THERE ARE NO ALLOWANCES

You must land on the Mun and get back any means necessary. You may send up refuel ships and even use previous saves but your ship must not change in the vehicle assembly building.

You can use space stations that you already have in orbit but you cant send any more up. before you start this challenge make a space station

You must get to the Mun within 2 days.

Your ships Hitchhiker storage container must survive both trips.

To be on the leaderboard post in the replies your flight time. and all the major events that happen and a picture of you on the way to the Mun Landing on the Mun On the way back to Kerbin and landing on Kerbin
