What was your first mun landing with?

My first kerbed 'landing' was in this: http://skorpychan.deviantart.com/art/Not-Quite-Perfect-384664559

Sat in it's own little debris field.

My first successful kerbed landing was in the same thing, but got a shot showing the intact ship: http://skorpychan.deviantart.com/art/Get-Down-From-There-384131912

Jebediah insisted on posing for the camera.

I've since developed a more fragile but lighter lander system, after getting the hang of the descent.

My first Mun landing was an Unmanned Rover. Took several tries, but I finally skycraned it down.

Then when I screwed up and the rover flipped over, I needed to get a manned mission down there (aka a Lander). Time after time, the lander flipped over because I applied too much thrust on my final approach.

Very depressing. I was better with Skycranes than landers.

My first Mun landing was in the demo version with fins and radial decouplers.

I called it Iron Bell (very subtle Pink Floyd reference).

In an unintentional imitation of NASA, I haven't been back since .19. Space station program is going well, though!

My first mun landing was with my Exodus munar lander. When it finally got to mun orbit its legs popped off and after a couple reloads they were back on. I went for landing and I didn't notice that the ground was around 2km above sea level so I crashed and I got it on my second try. In a few days the Mun was littered with landers like numbers 1 and 2, Genesis, Leviticus and Deuteronomy. I had a goal for the first week to land 1 lander for every day so the first day was 1 lander the second another 2 and then 3 the next ect.

My first Mun landing was in 0.13.1, and if I've gotten the correct screenshot (and I'm pretty sure I have) it was with a craft that had no rockets... just RCS. It was a nail-biting, adrenaline-filled experience after which I jumped up and down like a crazy person. :D
