Ki, Kp and Kd parameters in SAS and ASAS

What are these parameters? There is a mod for a sas system that allows you to modify these setting but I have no idea what they are.

At the moment SAS shakes my rockets to pieces, I'd like to try fiddling with it.

On a side note: what is the difference between avionics packages and SAS systems? What happens if i put both on board?

Good news though is that there is supposed to be a major update to the ASAS/SAS system in the upcoming game update.

There is really no point spending a while trying to correct it, the next update should bring a much improved, more stable ASAS/SAS system that will do exactly what you ask, coming in the next week or so.
