Cutting nerve to avoid motion sickens

Recommended Posts

You'd still have motion sickness, you would just not puke.

Right, stupid of me to not think of that.

Motion sickness is caused by your inner ear (your motion sensor) not agreeing with the rest of your sensory input

I got a little motion sickness, especially when I'm on the bus and go somewhere far away. It does not happen on the train, I wonder if I could ever do a pilot license, when I have the money :D

Once I talked to the doctor, she told me that the cause of my motion sickness, may be overweight I have about 130 Kg

And trust me!!! this is NOT good.

I was on a group trip and we took a drive around Lake Tahoe, I'm a flatlands girl. Mountains don't suit me well. I don't wanna get anyone in trouble so I'll just say someone gave me some medicine that goes on your wrist for nausea, it works QUICK, but didn't stop the nausea, just made me not puke. Very Very miserable.

I drink ginger beer if I feel nauseous, works a treat!

I don't recommend severing nerves though, not throwing up from motion sickness may be good but we have nerves (and the emetic response) for a reason so in the long term it would be a bad thing!

I am going to asume it feels like when you are horribly sick, and puke so much your stomach is empty but you still FEEL like you have to puke? That hurts like crap
