How did you come across KSP?

I found it on a "List of games that you (as a parent) want your children to play on the computer".

I am not sure how I ended up on it, since I don't have any children, but the game did sound like fun, there was a demo that I played for approx 5 minutes, then I bought it.

it was january 2012, i saw an article on a spanish blog, it briefly described KSP as a build a silly rocket, fail at trying to control it and make it explode.

ironically that was the game about at that time, no plugins, no map, no mun nothing but you and several tons of almost explosives under your seat,

i can remember that squad asked for 5$ for the game, i paid 7, its not much, but if i could paid more i would, the game deserved it, and watching it grow and grow, improving at every update, makes me feel nostalgic.

I read a playthrough on subsim.com forums and was intrigued by how it described Building rockets, planes, whimsical space stations etc. It appeared on Steam some days later and I got it immediatly. Haven't looked back :)

I forget what game I had been playing (might have been FTL) but a friend remembered "some rocket game" that you could build your own rockets and launch them and though I might be interested. We forgot about it for a week or 2, then asked him what it was called and soon had the demo (it was still on .13) but I didn't feel it was worth it. But a few youtube vids later....I had bought the game by the end of the week....and by the end of the next week so had my friend!

BUT if I had joined after they updated the Demo (to .18.3) I surely would have bought it much sooner! So glad they updated the demo!

I was playing Universe Sandbox, but it wasn't feeding my hunger for space games. I searched google for a while and saw "Kerbal Space Program". I looked around the homepage and thought it was kind of a cool game, but didn't think I should play it in alpha. I simply dismissed the game and moved on. Many months later I sat there bored, staring blankly at my screen and thought, "What the hell is this Kerbal Space Program thing?" I went on Steam, searched "Kerbal Space Program". Then I decided to get the demo, played it for an hour, and simply said, "Mother of God, this is the best game I've ever played, and it's not even the full version!" Then after downloading, installing, and playing; going through thousands of explosions, extra moon craters, and flaming kerbals. My hunger for space games was fed.

I downloaded old demo 0.13 long time ago and watched Chickenkeeper64 KSP videos and forgot and uninstalled after some time. I continued to watch Youtube videos about KSP and when it came to Steam I bought it immediately because I had recently discovered Steam and wonders of PC gaming (PS3 guy before)
