On a patrol mission over Eve, Jodeo encountered a new enemy, the Shadow. Following a panic over jammed communications, the Shadow vessel attacked Jodeo and his squadron. Barely able to avoid his blows, they rendezvoused with the Carrier Lumen. Deciding to go out with a bang, the Shadow ship rammed the Lumen's engines, destroying itself in the process. Now, floating adrift, and soon to reenter, Jodeo's task force with some help from the Alliance Eve base must defend against an even larger Shadow force...
