New User Graphics Settings on an iMac

Hi. New user just getting into KSP!! Could just use a bit of help to find the best graphics settings to balance between it looking at least ok but still being playable relatively smoothly on my iMac - and some of the graphics options I don't fully understand what they mean! I'm playing on an iMac as mentioned and my system information is as follows:

Mac OS X 10.7.5

2.4 GHz Intel COre 2 Duo

4 GB SDRAM

ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB

1920x1200 display

Any help on what settings I should be using would be great! Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! I'm afraid I can't help much with your question as I barely use iMacs. But 4GB of RAM is fairly good.

The big setting you have to worry about is the delta physics slider. Keep that all the way to the right on .03 and the rest doesn't matter much. You have a weak gpu so you may want to avoid anti-aliasing and other particle effects.

Yeah, lower anti-aliasing to x2.

Also set terrain detail to fastest, and turn off terrain scatters.
