I don\'t know if this counts, but I have manage to get 254 729 m/s using stock parts and gravity of sun (and veeerrryyy low orbit pass over sun).

Still adding more stages. Could attain higher velocity\'s if I played with orbits and such. At the moment, this is my highest speed with just raw Kerban power.

This is off a mission I did before I know about this challange but its my best.

Thats is the faster I\'ve ever travelled. By launching a sunset I didn\'t have to turn the ship around and waste fuel just going staight up.
