There's only one warp engine, just two nacelles.

Yeah, one warp core (which is where the matter-antimatter reaction happens) then two warp nacelles which do the spacetime bending.

Anyhow yes - if the warp core goes poof, it's probably safe to say that both nacelles do as well Along with most everything else in the vicinity.

Actually, the reason the COM/COT is not off is because the warp nacelles don't generate thrust, they warp space. The impulse engines which do in fact create thrust, are on the COM.
