Storyline:

Kerbal scientists have spotted odd spots on Kerbol, or the Sun. These spots called EXI Sun Spots, have been increasing in size, and fluctuating Kerbol's temperature. Some scientists have even found dips in sunlight and in orbital velocities. As odd as this was, Kerbals have sent up the Helius probe. A probe to monitor the sun past Moho's orbit. With this we were able to see a sun spot the size of Duna colliding with another sunspot the size of Kerbin or Eve, creating a solar cyclone. This stumbled many Kerbal scientists as it has never been seen before. Temperatures reached 120° C whilst in orbit, and velocity increased and decreased at rapid rates. After sending up the Helius II probe to orbit incredibly close to Kerbol, scientists found out that the two sunspots were to combine and shoot thousands of photons in a beam. Wernher Von Kerman, has calculated that this isn't any average solar flare, but a EXI flare. When gases are shot out of the center and incredable speeds. This solar flare was known as only one thing, EXI-0.21 Only a few knew what was to happen, total annihilation.

Mission Brief:

Three kerbals came together, Scott Kerman, Orion Kerman, and Wernher Von Kerman to discuss a proper solution, however most ideas had many flaws and couldn't help protect Kerbin and it's people. It was best hidden to the public and carried on by secrecy. Code name Project Fenway was the only plan. Mission was to send two HPSE (High Powered Solar Escapers) with two purposes. Fenway I was to be shot at a highly eccentric orbit around Kerbol, that hopefully hides it from it's most powerful solar flare. After 36 years, the probe will come back and return to Kerbin (If it is still there) and jettison pods of DNA to try ad repopulate planet Kerbin. Fenway I is our last hope in continuing the Kerbal way of life. Success rates are incredibly low, and most likely an imminent failure. Fenway II is to escape the SOI of Kerbol and travel forever into the SOI of our Galaxy. Fenway includes pictures of us Kerbals, our history, language, culture, location in the universe, so if any intelligent life form picks it up, they will learn about our existence, and our footprint. Photos will be taken by the Fenway II and sent back to Fenway I. If the DNA implantation works, maybe they can learn from what we did wrong.

I hate to be the guy, but this should really be in mission reports.

Otherwise, this is incredible. A very simple idea, with brilliant execution. Will you be doing something following up on it in .21? I assume the roleplay assumes Fenway I is successful in repopulation of Kerbin after .21's release.

I didn't know about that section. Silly me.

Anyway, I was planning on hacking the ship into a 0.21 save, and countinuing on from there. I was mainly working on a machinima with a few Youtubers of this whole story thing.
