Buggy Duna buggy

I discovered that big black wheels weights as small probe wheels and consumes same amount of electricity for much higher speed. Also, they are much more durable.

So, I've sent a buggy to Duna to test them.

This is a rocket. Huge orange tank used for the sake of simplicity.

One stage is slightly not enough to reach orbit.

And here Billy-Bobny discovered that he overshoot and landing on ridiculously steep slope.

Rover flipped over and slide all the way down, destroying antenna in process.

Flipping it back.

It is very simple in low gravity - first trim roll at max on a rover, then kick it on right side.

After crossing plains, collecting samples and climbing up again, Billy-Bobny decided to rest overnight in the rock shadow.

These buggy wheels turned out to be incredibly buggy.

First, just without reason suspension springs suddenly contracts as under very heavy loads. Then they extend at max and suspension becomes absolutely stiff and rover begins to shake. Moreover, sometimes it continue to shake even when I stop and engage brakes. Also in this condition wheels tend to lose contact with the ground and skid. And this ends as abruptly as it starts.

Really, they live their own life.

On the way down buggy wheels lost friction, brakes stopped to work and rover falled on its side and slide several kilometers (over kilometer in height), then finally flipped over and destroyed solar panel.

Billy-Bobny remains unharmed in incident.
