Built a Kerbalised Saturn V, and sent Jeb on a Flag-planting tour of the system

After having some fun flying Aeris 3 around KSC and nearby mountains i went to space. First Bill, Bob and Jeb went into orbit. Since they still had plenty of fuel i flew them to the Mun. Unfortunately, after circularising i decided not to land - fuel level after circularising wasn't THAT optimistic. So guys had to be satisfied with being first Kerbals to orbit the Mun. Honour of first landing went to Jenbas and Malvin piloting brand new White Eagle lander.

I didn't do anything exciting; built a space station so I could see how the crew management worked in practice over a series of missions. I like the extra feeling of persistence it adds.

I landed on the new Mun, which is harder, tried to take off withotu fuel then crashed. Then I looked at the crew assignment, got pissed because of permadeath and stopped playing.

As is my tradition after each major patch, I landed on the Mun. At the edge of a crater. Inside another crater. Did I mention the new craters are awesome?

The rectangular thing halfway out of the image is the flag Jepediah planted. The floaty bit right above the landing leg is a solar cell, this demonstrates quite clearly how stuff generally floats off the surface of some fuel tanks.
