Building a station. Tri-docking vs Solo big docking

When building a station, which provides me most solid/rigid connection? I'm thinking of trying to building my first huge craft, and since its suppose to actually move around I need to not fall apart in a turn due to its own inertia

tri or even quad docking works better then single port for permanent bits.
