Better explosions

It doesn't make sense that every part explodes when it's destroyed, even metal struts and things. also, when a giant fuel tank crashes into the surface, there'd be tons of shrapnel. are there any plans to add more realistic part destruction to the game?

p.s. since atomic rockets have nuclear reactors inside, they should release radiation when they explode

Some stuff explodes (in a white puff) for essentially zero effect, while some parts can damage other parts by exploding

Each part has a variable defining it's explosion potential

Safe to assume these systems/interactions will continue improving
