Higher contrast numerals on Resources display

I'm having trouble reading the Resources display sometimes. When the meters' bars are full, figures can be read and understood at a glance, but when the bars are near-empty the numbers associated with them become harder to read because of the reduced contrast. This has led to Loss Of Flight accidents as I get surprise flame-outs while trying to eke out the last few molecules of air before shutting down the jets.

If the numbering could be brightened, or if the bar colour scheme adjusted, so that numbers are in high-contrast throughout the flight my Kerbals wouldn't have to hit the silk quite so often.
