Editing file to have parts lay flat instead of vertical

I can edit the file to get a fuel tank lay flat but I can\'t seem to attach against a vertical tank. What happens is the horizontal one will go inside the vertical one. I want the horizontal one to act like a radial strut and stay on the outside. Does that make any sense? ???

I don\'t think it is currently supported. We can make a new side ways model for the part with 3d software. But the game only connects objects and parts from top to bottom with node connectors. We can connect them sideways for struts and wings though.

You can set the tank to be connected in the same way as a strut or wing, but I don\'t know if the fuel still works.

You just need to change the position of your node_attach node. Simple as that.
