But the only thing I will clarify is to not quicksave/quickload when you miss because it is a dick move.

That's why my ships all have a million tiny short-minimum-range missiles. I miss all the time if I use the big kind. xD

Ok so I just had an interesting thought.

As many of you may know, the next update is probably going to asteroids in it as well new parts to be able to grab on to the asteroids.

That being said, are we soon going to start throwing rocks at each other?

I can just see some like me or daemon doing a battle where we are tossing an asteroid back and forth at each other

I think all of us have(that and/or landing them)another cool thing might be to have a land battle over an extremely large one using the grabber or creating a 'Bomb' type game with the objective of destroying the opponents asteroid(if possible)

OK I set up the persist.

First I had trouble getting Mediafire to allow me access, then KSP decided it was an old version file, now my current install of KSP decides not to allow me access to any saves and freezes.

I'm working on it...

Ok, its going.

My fleet:

Three Mk. 14-X4s at 120t each.

One Mk.18 at 60t

One Mk20 at 25t

My move, It didn't go so well... I have tried double armor in the past while messing around, but never made it more effective than my single layer. Yours seems to be very effective... I need to learn how to stack plates like that.

I started with my least massive craft Blue-4 "Fizzlebeef" and executed a Hohmann transfer to get within 1 km of P.I.M.S. Poptart. There I fiddled around for a while and tried to square up a good shot. I used 2 small torpedoes in a volley to ensure proper targeting. One glanced off and the other missed by a millimeter so I let the big one go. Parts fly every where, but when the debris is checked out I think all I did was knock off one solar array and a RTG... Next time I shoot from further back.

Yup you killed BigFlank's LV-Ns. I'll work on that with the Mk. 22. Oddly enough, they may have broken because I changed the attachment method RIGHT before the match since I was concerned they stuck out back to far...

Blue-2 "SPeedChunk" engages P.I.M.S. Twix Bar

I thought about my intention to shoot from farther away last night but realized maybe my half meter torpedo phased through the ship due ti its high speed. This time I took Blue-2 "FizzleBeef" in close, chained up some tiny anti-fighter missiles I threw on the ship as a second thought and let them rip... I think my last shot may have been after P.I.M.S. Twix bar was dead, but after last round I needed some revenge and didn't want to give up prematurely, or lose my attack window if she drifted away from energy imparted by the torps.

Shepard 1 (flight lead) is my first ship to attack

I decided my first target should be the Harvest(dead)man Walker as it would be the hardest to reach. Through power of the Ion, liquid and RCS I was able to accomplish this feet. Just as in the First Battle of Minmus, I flew down to the target and landed right beside it till morning. Then using RCS power, I preformed a VTOL takeoff and Fired two sets of Missiles, After insuring it was dead, I blasted off to meet up with the PGS Chain Breaker to get a splash of RCS and Liquid fuel.

The pilot of the walker is listed as Lost so that means a KIA

PGS Chain Breaker was the biggest threat, so for my first move, I directed Hunter Leader to take a few potshots at her.
