zekes
well i think neither of us can say this was a clear victory... but I did defend Ike and so I should get victory...EDIT also i realize the David is in a sub orbital flight. That leaves the Thresher the only ship alive...... why don't we call this one a draw? Edited August 8, 2013 by zekes
Spartwo
Destroy the fighter without ramming it otherwise I have the last ship.
zekes
Destroy the fighter without ramming it otherwise I have the last ship.... even if i don't, i have two ships, you have one. Best you can do is take out one of my ships. That still means i win.
Spartwo
Just how?.Neither pose any threat.I had the win one turn ago.
zekes
No you didnt. It was still two-two. Now it's Two one with your deorbit. plus you chaged the ramming rule after my attack.
Spartwo
Yes I changed it from manned to any meaning my ships couldn't either.
Valley
Just my view point - I think the point would be who has the functioning ship able to continue to fight and control the battle space. Numbers don't manner as much as who can continue to fight. I would suggest continuing the fight if weapons can still be fired. If ships can no longer fight, be they damaged or empty, they should not be thought of as effective war ships. If ships exist after the last shell is spent than it would seem to be a draw. Once again, my view. The point is not to destroy the enemy - the point is to make the enemy ineffective. If one military fleet is unarmed than it is not a effective fleet. Who has weapons that are still working?
Spartwo
I do(The one furthest to the right has about 2/5 fuel left) lV Both are unarmed.

Who has weapons that are still working?Yeah i agree the ships are all pretty useless... Im perfectly willing to call this a draw. After my attack, he has no ships left but one of mine is immobile and the other is unarmed.Spartwo you are jumping the gun. My attack as perfectly fair and you changed the rules AFTER my post.
Spartwo
I changed it to your advantage. Before:unmanned craft can ram manned ones can'tAfter:No craft can ram. Edited August 8, 2013 by Spartwo
zekes
THat doesn't matter you still changed it AFTER my perfectly legal winning move. Therefore you can't say you won or I lost. At best it's a draw.
Valley
I would say a draw - neither fleets own the battle space and, therefore, nobody can control the planetary system safety. I suggest another fight - with clear rules of engagement. Think of it as a duel between gentlemen.
zekes
As a gentleman I agree - the rules were changed at the decicive moment of battle and therefore should be rematched.

Spartwo
The point I'm making is the craft was manned and you rammed with it.
zekes
It has unmanned capabilitys too... I just left the kerb with the Thresher and went unmanned for a bit...
Valley
I think you will have to decide if a ship can ram or not - period. Maybe limit ramming to once or twice by engagement? Or by tonnage?
zekes
ok so lets decide this now before any furhter confusion....why don't we say that ramming isn't allowed? To put it to rest permanently...
Spartwo
No ramming period. Can we just go back to your last turn it hadn't occured by that point.EDIT:probably should have checked that orbit.EDIT EDIT:go ahead and set up ksp is acting up. zekes
Ok here is the persist:http://www./?amobaaijsjvrh46As the dust settled, the 12th had done it's job: the enemy fighters had been repelled. But another wave was coming. The Thresher was quickly repaired and Drekevak was rebuilt from pieces. A new ship, Skrillex, also joined the 12th Fighter Fleet. They got into station and waited for the Tekkan fighters to attack.
