Ok so we got a quick battle

Zokesia vs Project Genesis

3 Derk MKXIV vs 3 Salvation MKII Class

battle is at Eve

special rules

has to end by Sunday 11:59pm no matter how many ships are left or whos turn it is.

There was a slight glitch which caused my target to just fly away so I caught up with it. I decided to attack it with 2 salvos of .5 meter missiles

None of the shots were kills but at least its missiles are gone

well looks like it's too late to join in on this one (zekes you ever try out that armor?) though I did develop a new smart missle I am wanting to try out any takers?(ie really really small battle) @ OP why no mods? I think it might be fun to be able to set up some working bases.

because not everyone would have the same mods

gues that make sense. though I think if we used mods to set up bases and only use one persist file then it would give use something "real" to battle over

I have been thinking about that and I may have come up with an interesting game to let fighters and carriers have more of a role in the game

On second thought I can tell y'all now.

So here is my game type to get carriers and fighter more into battle

Each team has fighters (amount decided by combatants) and a base (carrier or space station)

The base can have no way to attack and cant be moved (meaning no increase/decrease in orbit) once placed. The only thing a base can do is rearm and refuel a fighter

Bases must be far enough away from battle as to not cause lag

Players can only use fighter to attack

Bases cant be attacked until at least 70-80% precent of fighters are killed/disabled.

Win conditions are:

Enemy base is killed (original core is destroyed)

Most damage done to base (spectators decide winner)

(if spectators cant decided) how many fighters remain alive

What are y'alls thoughts?

@last post on previous page:Too much roleplay the thread would get locked.What would people say to a passive depot?(using that spare mass)A Drek vs Bayonet collision test convinced me to try a armor refit(seeing how they came out equally damaged from a 20m/s cimpactt.expect a persist by 5pm.Also an advanced 'shredder' warhead ir nearing optimun performance.
