But I agree with spartwo in having a set of thread rules and maybe even get other threads to standardize something. What if a contest with other battle threads ever came up.

Don't have to use them if you don't want and your opponent agrees but if they don't the default is the house rules.

I hope you don't think I'm just trying to be controversial Spartwo just for the sake of it because i agree it needs to be discussed. Also a max number of missiles fired per turn make it better too. Maybe max of 3 small 2 medium and only one large? per turn?

I just think the ruling limits creativity, for no fairness gain.

I personally no longer use guided missiles because somehow they reduce my accuracy.

Daemon is it fair for a ICBM on the surface(weighing 10 tons) to destroy a 200 ton cruiser just because it could.

Also thd rules aqe there so what corgi did isn't allowed,to stop a cube made of tier 5 armor doesn't ram all your ships into dust,so sorry for giving everyone an equal chance but the thread is about who has the better ships not who is in a solar frank orbit.

Not that it would matter to me because hitting targets on the surface is fun but make the max limit for the size of a missile directly relative to the size of a craft.

I think that the first page rules are fine as they are and people need to decide on extra rules before the match starts

ex Camulus wants a minimum engagement rule (something I dont care for but im not going to say no you cant do that) then if he and his opponent agree then that rule is set.

Depends on what is heavier but i agree number of shots generally wins over better design and heavier armor. Look at the Panzer vs the Sherman. Panzer would kill 3 of them for every panzer but there were 5 times as many Sherman.

There is one that I know of that RP's and there are plenty of threads with stock ship designing groups just like ours. I know Zekes has like 10 or more people in his company alone that coupled with others like the EMU and UKSI etc...

I don't go on the RP forum ne more but if i gets closed at least they will have someplace to go to
