Part cloning

Hi!

I am new to KSP, could anybody help me with one qustion?

While building my vessels, especially orbit stations, I usually equip it with a lot of ladders, but the thing is, I don't really know how to clone it on the go. I drag it everytime from the part section. Wiki says you have to alt+left click, but doesn't work for me. I'm windows user btw.

Alt + drag would be a better description. Give it another go.

omg, didn't think it was this way! Thank you a lot! Thought you must place parts with alt+click. helped me so much!
